Happy Friday Everyone!!!

It looks like its going to be another great weekend. I have been to busy and not feeling up to snuff lately getting cards done is a tast in itself. Here are a couple of them that I did up weeks ago.These were very easy to make and very simple in design but very elegant. Enjoy. E

The first one I used the Cherry Cobler card stock for SU, Their fabulous chirstmas design paper ,their matching fabric, new glitter brads, and the extra large curvy punch. Check out the Holiday Mini on the side bar.

I used Cherry Cobbler and Kraft SU. card stock, Christmas fat quarters, large background Christmas sayings stamp, top note and leaves sizzix templates.

Sparkle's 2010 Christmas Card Challenge #44

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I just got out of the hospital and was in a hurry to get this posted for Sparkle's Christmas card Challenge. I did this one up for the Charity PJ Party which we held on Sept 12. It was a huge success. I used the new Christmas Paper and buttons from the new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue. Charity PJ Party

Well another great success. We had allot of fun putting it together and I know that fun was had by all. Our total we collected through the auction and extra cards set sold a total of 910.00 towards the Northern Cancer Research Centre/ Chemotherapy. I am totally thankful to all who attended the party and participated in the draws and auctions. I want to thank personally the most important people who always have my back and took great care in helping me out with the make and takes and for making the day less stressful. Donna, Kelly, Shanna, Amy, Trevor, Brandi. Thank you ladies you are the best and hold a special place in my heart. lv u E. Home at last

Hi everyone. Well its been a whirl wind two weeks. We made it to Lady Gaga concert in Minneapolis. It was amazing. One of the best concert/show I have seen in a long time. It was more like a theatre production than a concert. Worth all the pain i endured just to be there. I even gave up shopping so I could rest up for the concert. Ended up in the hospital when we got home but out now and feeling better every day. Looking forward to the Charity PJ Party this Sunday and seeing everyone. It is always a blast. Back from Camping

Hello everyone. Well I am back from a fabulous week of camping. What better healing time when you spend it with the most amazing friends. Happy Hot Summer Day!

Hi, everyone. I thought I would post a few more cards that I have been working on. Slow and steady as they say. I am so excited I got a great box of goodies today from Stampin' UP! Some of the new Christmas stuff from the new Holiday Mini which will be coming to your mail box by Sept 1st. I can't wait to play and get some Christmas cards done for the PJ Party in Sept. On a hot day like today thinking of Christmas helps you cool down a bit. Thank who ever invented Air Conditioning for days like today. Well enough chit chat here are the cards. This is one I did with my bella fairy my daughter bought me on her trip to Toronto. I was playing with a few borrowed nestibilities and got hooked just like everyone one else. Used my watercolor pensil crayons, dazzling diamond dust SU and bella bling.

Loved how my cc design Sugar plum Christmas Emma (Dat's) turned out. Used my copics and you can't really tell but I used white fun flock on her hat and outfit. I made the mushrooms look Christmasy to go with the new paper I got from DAT'S. (link below to her blog) I am still trying to figure out how to add links in my post they don't look as neat as everyone elses. I added glossy glaze to the light bulbs to give them a bit of a shine.

I am not sure where this image came from. I found it already stamped and never got to colouring her. I made the rest of the card look like a wrapped present to go with the presents she is holding. Love the new glitter card stock from DAT"s the sparkles don't rub off in your hands.

Sparkle's Creation Challenge #5

Well here are a few of my cards that I have been working on. Having a bit more energy without the chemo treatments. The radiation is not bad just a bit tired from time to time. Cat naps are great. I used one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps, and Stampin' Up! Embosslits Dies Flower Burst. This second card I am using the new colours from Stampin' Up! Expresso and Marina Mist, Daffodile. I also used the same embosslits dies Flower burst, the new mini punches. It turned out great. Have a great week.

Happy Augusts

Hello everyone. Sorry have not posted in awhile. Its been a very busy couple of weeks. I have started Radiation treatment and trying to get some camping in. Just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary to my amazing husband. He surprised me with a chocolate diamond ring. Now I can never go without my chocolate! lol!! He done good!! I am just finishing up my cards samples for this coming fall classes. Yes I am going to try and get back in the saddle and teach some really neat techniques. I will post them on the 12th Aug and they will be on display at Dat's by then as well. I don't have any cards to post today but here is a peek of my Daughter all dressed up for her Prom. Here is the card I did for her birthday. I used my watercolor pencil crayons. cuttlebug embossing skinning template, They turned out great.

Here is another one I did with my Keto stamp from Bella. She is so cute. My Friendship garden has so many beautiful flowers that it was the insperation for this card and many others that I have done lately. I used my Stampin' Up! watercolor pencil crayons. Diamond glaze on the flower in her hair. And Black Glaze pens by Sakura.

I can't believe it's been so long since my last blog. Well my excuse was illness related. I did not do so well on the last chemo round and ended up in the hospital for a short stay. It is amazing what some good antibiotics and 4 pints of blood will do for the body. Good a new. Here are a few cards I had worked on a while ago. Enjoy!. lv e

I have had this Sunflower stamp for a long time. Found it at the back of my stamp closet. Sitll love it. I used my Prima pensil crayons on the flower and leaves. Using my mineral blending soloution worked great. They turned out great.

My Beautiful Friendship Garden

Hello everyone. Well I don't have any cards for you today but would like for you to visit my girlfriend Donna's blog. link below. I had to travel to Toronto for a doctors appointment on Friday , went down in the morning and back same night. To my amazement when returing home some little faries had come to visit my garden and were very busy. These 3 faries came with the assistance of 37 other planted my beautiful friendship garden.

Donna, Kelly, Kim thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all the work you did. You have all filled my heart with love , joy and happiness. I have never in my life would have expected all of this and I am so speechless (yes speechless) that I could not talk for 5 min when I first saw my garden. I am so humble by the amout of love I have recieved that it brings tear of joy to my eyes everytime I look at my garden. I know there is not enough words to express my appreaciation but I send out alot of hugs and kisses to everyone.

Kelly, Donna, Kim you are amazing women and I am so blessed to have you as my bestest friends. Love you all. Ellena

yes I am still here

Hello everyone. Its been awhile since I have posted. Things have been a bit hectic around here. I have been diagnosed with non hodgkin lymphoma. So I have been a bit busy with treatments and not have the energy level that i am used to. I have had two Chemo treatments and so far they are getting a bit better everyone time. Now that I know what to expect with them it is easier to manage. I have 6 more to go. I hope to find my mojo again but right now I am consentrating on getting better and getting the bump in the road out of my life. Rest is on the menu for most days and positive thoughts. I have been receiving alot of great get well cards which I will be posting for now instead of my own. Cheers everyone. lv E
